The Twilight Cast Gets Fashionable

Today we're going to take a look at the lovely ladies from the Twilight Series in celebration of the DVD release of Eclipse! Are you excited? I know some of you aren't but you have to admit that some of those girls have amazing wardrobe stylists. :)

Ashley Greene in Giambattista Valli [left] and Prabal Gurung [right].

Ashley Greene is set to host, Fashion Forward. She has graced the pages of countless magazines and she is the most noted fashionista that has come out of the franchise. She normally picks classic pieces but then adds a funky accessory like a bracelet or bag. And plus, she looks fabulous in red.
__
Dakota Fanning in Elie Saab [left] and Valentino [right].

Budding fashionista Dakota Fanning took the fashion world by storm with her high end styles. Its hard to remember that this is the little girl that stole hearts in Uptown Girl. It's been a while.

Nikki Reed in Burberry [left] and 7 For All Mankind [right].

Nikki Reed flies under the radar due to her absence from the headlines. And I think that's probably the best for the longevity of her career. Nikki Reed looks stunning my favorite brand [Burberry] and I don't think there's a time when she doesn't look fabulous. :)

Kristin Stewart in Herve Leger by Max Azria [left] and Helmut Lang [right].

I adore Kristin with red hair. It makes her look more fashion and less greasy. Does that make sense? I don't know. I'm excited for Breaking Dawn the movie even though it was my least favorite book in the series. I felt it was just a waste. What did you think?
__
I think Eclipse was my favorite movie but New Moon will always be my favorite book. I prefer Taylor because I find Edward a little...intense [edit: i mean Robert, i don't know why i wrote edward. Lane what were you thinking? duh.]. I'm going to get so many hateful comments because I just said that.

A Harry Potter/Twilight Wedding?

No. No. Do not worry. There has been no horrible cross contamination between these two box-office hits. Or at least not when it comes to the silver screen. But what happens off the screen is a totally different story.

Bonnie Wright in a grey leather jacket paired with black skinny jeans [left] and in Alexander McQueen [right].

It has been largely rumored that Bonnie Wright--budding British fashionista--is engaged to Jamie Campbell Bower, Caius from the Twilight Saga. And yes, that's him the upper-left picture. Doesn't ring a bell? Well, you have another chance to see him in the up-coming final installment of Harry Potter as Gellert Grindelwald.

The couple has yet to confirm their engagement and Bonnie has even gone as far as denying it but the rumors are still flying. I have become newly obsessed with Bonnie's young, often times black, style. Emma Watson is not the only fashionista on the set of HP. Emma had better look out. [jk]

Bonnie Wright in a chunky sweater over a white dress [left] and in Prada [right].

On one hand she can look casual and slightly grunge-esque [no, not the movie] with a knitted sweater over a white dress and red felt heels over black socks. So unexpected. So chic. But on the other hand she can look glamorous, like she stepped right out of old Hollywood.

I loved this interview she did with Nylon Magazine. She seemed so humble and sweet--despite the fact that  she was famous practically from birth [excuse my hyperbole]. Did she appear in Nylon but I just missed it? Please leave any thoughts, concerns, or ideas in the comments. I love hearing from you guys!

For those of you who live in America, Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you eat lots of stuffing and turkey and pies. Yum. I love pies. Especially pecan. :)

Bella's Wedding Dress for Breaking Dawn?

There has been much buzz about what Kristen will be wearing when Bella says "I do." And who-ever gets the honor of designing the gown, will be adored--or hated--by Twi-Hards around the world. :) But then again, they say that no publilcity is bad publicity.

Well, a few designers have shared their ideas about how they would dress Bella for the big day. The above look was created by Christian Siriano. Which look is your favorite?

Monique Lhuillier

Max Azria

Erin Featherston

Prabal Gurung

Lela Rose

Badgley Mischka

Zac Posen

Okay, now that you've seen them all which are your favorite? I really like Erin Featherston, Parabal Gurung, and Lela Rose. I don't know if they're right for Bella, but from a personal standpoint those are my faves. :) Tell me your thoughts below! I want to hear from you. [even if you hate Twilight]

Random on Friday

TGIF!! :) Tonight is another football game. Woohoo! We lost our first game so hopefully we win? Or maybe not lose as badly. There's always hoping. Today I should probably post about something fashion related. Because, well duh, this is a fashion blog after all.

But I feel like mixing it up a little today. Today's post will be completely random and really make little to no sense. :) I hope you guys enjoy and if you don't, I'll post another fashion post tomorrow or on Sunday. I promise! :)
__
I found this on youtube! It's the coolest--okay maybe not the coolest but its still pretty cool. Thanks Randon93! You're my favorite too. :)

[ugh. i can't get the video to appear so I'm just going to post a link. i hate it when technology lets me down] :(

My friend sent this picture to me in an email and I cracked up! The cat even has Robert Pattinson's pasty skin and steamy, smoldering stare. I don't know how people have time to do this type of thing but I guess I blog about fashion and other people enjoy dressing up cats like famous celebrities. Who am I to judge?

I don't mean this as a diss to Robert. I do enjoy the Twilight series. :)

Have you been watching Hellcats. I only caught one episode but I don't know if I like it or not. The drama with the cheer coach wasn't that interesting. I reserve the right to form an opinion until I've seen another epsiode. But, question: Does Martie ever wear a shirt that covers her belly?

Good thing she lives in Memphis otherwise she would get cold. :) [wow. i sounded really stupid just now]

Plus did anyone see Karlie Kloss on Gossip Girl on Monday! I guess I was completely out of the loop and I was sitting there thinking, "Wow. That girl looks just like Karlie Kloss. No...wait! That is Karlie!"

Oh, sometimes I'm so behind the curb. And I guess, that's the first random Friday. Let me know if you want more. If you want less, tell me. I can handle it...I think.

You Make Me Laugh! XD

Today's blog post has nothing to do with fashion. :) But I was watching a ton of YouTube vides yesterday. And I was watching What The Buck. If you don't know who Michael Buckley is [and I'm pretty sure a lot of you do] I think he is so, so funny!

I really like his movie reviews. Especially when he talked about the Eclipse movie. Click here for the link. If you haven't seen Eclipse then don't go and watch it. He gives you an entire synopsis of the movie but he says it in a way that is ten times funnier than the actual movie. There were a few inappropriate jokes but that didn't bother me.

Ginger down. Ginger down! :) Oh, Michael Buckley. You make me laugh.

Okay. I thought I'd share that with you guys. I spent the entire day re-watching his videos and laughing my butt off [okay, maybe not the whole day but a good few hours].

And in honor of his funny video I decided to share my Eclipse Polyvore with you guys. I made it before Eclipse actually came out and I'm sharing it with you guys now. :) Enjoy. I know that I just posted another Polyvore a few days ago but...I decided to do it again. Sorry!

Does this make me a dork, but I really want that Team Jacob tee! Oh, no! I really am a dork. :/ Better to know now than find out later, right? :)

I was thinking about doing a closet tour. What do you guys think? Do you want to see what my closet looks like? Comment below! And be sure to enter my giveaway if you haven't. Win $200 Target Gift Card! :)

Yesterday I had a complete heart attack! :) Last night my computer wasn't charging and I was convinced that my computer had finally gone to the computer store in the sky. I almost cried. There is so much stuff on my computer that I could never get back!

But thankfully I was having a complete blonde moment! I was charging my computer by the coach and I had it plugged into my sister's charger--it wasn't plugged in and so it wasn't going to charge. Geez! :) I'm beyond relieved right now.

How many of you have seen Eclipse? I really want to see it but I have to wait until Monday. Ugh. It was the only time it worked for everyone. But should I see it? Was it good? Please comment below.

I'll talk to you guys later! :) I'm going to go to Old Spaghetti Factory tomorrow. So excited! :) It's literally my favorite restaurant. I simply adore the white clam sauce. Oh, its sooo good.

Before Twilight

Hola, senoritas! And Senors. :) I hope I didn't spell anything wrong. I'm not taking Spanish so I really don't know what I'm doing but I thought I'd mix up my greetings. :) My friend is trying to teach me Spanish and its going pretty well.

Anyway, I saw that Gina from anything ima[gina]ble did a summer reading list. And I thought I'd do the same thing. :) Here's her post if any of you were interested.

So I've created a Summer Reading List. Its just for fun and it isn't for school or anything. I noticed that I tend to resent or seriously dislike things that I'm forced to do. For example: School. If I couldn't go to school or if it were an option I'm so positive that I would love it. I would be devastated if I couldn't go and get an education.

But...since I have to go to school, I resent that I have to get up every morning at six or six-thirty, depending on if I have any homework I didn't do the night before. Maybe its the whole getting up early that makes me dislike school. Hmm...

But here are the books I plan to read this summer. :)

*Persuasion by Jane Austen
*Private by Kate Brian
*The Host by Stephenie Meyer
*Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
*Fool For Love by Sam Shepard
*A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway

I think that's enough. Seven books in three months is doable, right? I guess if I don't finish its no big deal. I mean only me and you will ever know. :) I tried to do a balanced list between "classics" and more modern books. If there are any books that I just need to read then write them in the comments.

Over the course of the summer, I will end up reading at least three books that aren't on this list and I think that's okay. :) I mean I found about Twilight series the summer before ninth grade and I loved that book. I could not put it down. Although to be honest I didn't know about the whole Twilight series or the fact that it was a series.
I read New Moon first so maybe that's why that book has a special place in my heart. It came with tattoos and a poster and I remember thinking, "Who is this Edward guy and why would I want a temporary tattoo of his name?"

Hahaha. Good times. :) Well, I want to know if you have a summer reading list? If not, what're you doing this summer? Hitting the beach? Catching up on sleep? I really want to know. :)

Five Times the Fun

Gina from anything ima[gina]ble tagged me for an award. She's one of my daily reads and I love that she has the same taste in music that I do. Everytime I go to her blog, I know that I'll love the music she has playing. Random little fact just in case you wanted to know. :)

Well, here's the award! Cute, huh?

Anywho, here are the rules. :) State five random facts about you. It seems pretty simple. :) Well, here I go. Wish me luck!

Random Fact Number 1
It's my birhtday!! :D

Random Fact Number 2
The first CD I bought with my own money was Britney Spears' Oops!...I Did It Again. Wow. That was a long time ago. Good times. Good times.

Random Fact Number 3
I'm unwillingly addicted to Twilight. I didn't ask for this. All I wanted was to pick up a book to read on the plane to my grandma's house and the small Borders in my town was where my obsession with Edward Cullen started. Yes, I know he's a character not a real person. But a girl can dream, can't she? ;)

Random Fact Number 4
I've been taking Japanese for two years and I cannot speak it--at all! I'm not even kidding. I know all these words but I don't know how to string them into a sentence...

Random Fact Numer 5
I find Spider Solatiare to be very relaxing. With my music and my cards, I can never go wrong. :)

I'm off to celebrate my birthday! :) So excited. I'm seventeen which means that I can legally go to rated R movies now. So exciting! And only three more days (not counting weekends) before school gets out. Yes! :) It's about time.

April Favorites!!

The title is a little self explantory. I don't think I need much of an intro. Just got done with my SAT's and I hope I did good. Crossies. :) It just took so long. And my AP test start next week. Wish me luck! Oh, so nervous.

MAC's Dazzleglass Moth To Flame
This favorite kind of goes together with my other favorite, Laura Geller's Nice-n-Nude. They look so pretty together. So pretty. I've had this in my collection for a while and I thought it was pretty but it was never a favorite. Its a favorite now! I mean how could it not be? :) Its so pretty.

I'm not a brand name makeup person by any means. And this eyeliner is just as good as a brand name liner. I lost the cap to mine a while ago but I still love the color. I wear this on my lower lashline when I'm sporting a really neautral eye. Plus isn't purple supposed to make brown eyes pop?

I've talked about this open before! :) In my earlier post, Kick Back and Relax. I still love it. And this had to make its way into my April Favorites post. It was a no brainer. I won't bore you guys with another ramble about why I love nude lips.
__
Icepacks and Ankle Braces
I sprained my ankle! I know. That means I can't play tennis for like a week. This is so frustrating. And so icepacks and ankle braces have become my best friend. Maybe these aren't my favorites becuase I like my sprained ankle but the packs and the braces make it less painful. :)

I love this movie despite the cheesiness and the bad acting. :) My dad bought it for me and I was so excited. Taylor Lautner is so much cuter than Robert Pattinson. Just saying. Hahaha. :) It was so much better than Twilight. So much better. Maybe its becacuse Robert Pattinson isn't in the movie as much. Please don't hate me Rob fans!

What were your April favorites?

Break Up the Dark

See:Remember Me
Okay. I know I told you guys in an earlier post that I was going to see this movie and going into the thing I was sure that I would absolutely hate it. But it caught me by suprise I actually enjoyed the story and complex characters that were thrown into the story. The begining was a little slow (just give it time) but the end was amazing. I didn't see it coming and it was just a really powerful movie. I was pleasantly surprised. :)

Read:The Van Alen Legacy
Over the winter break I literally devoured the Blue Bloods book series. But I'm still not quite sure how I missed the fact that there was a fourth book in the series. Some times I'm so oblivious to the things around me. This book is a mix of Gossip Girl and Twilight with a lot of action adventure thrown in there. I know that's a lot of stuff to shove into one book but somehow Melissa de la Cruz manages to do it effortlessly. I really recommed this book even if you don't like vampire books. It's an amazing read.

Watch:90210
I'm a huge fan of Gossip Girl. Which probably comes as no surprise to the people who've read my blog in the past. :) But I also really like to watch 90210. Its a fun show with witty dailouge and can you really get enough of popular rich kids and their drama? I don't think so. :) You watch this show on The CW on Tuesday at 8/7c. Enjoy! :)

Wear:AE Sequin Embellished Tank
I must confess. I love the look of this shirt and lately I become very fond of sequins. :) I don't know what it is (maybe its the twelve-year-old in me) but right now I'm absolutely in love with most things that sparkles. Sequin is adorable and it will trasnition effortlessly into spring. Its time to exercise your right to bare arms and show off your shoulders. I know I can't wait for summer to just get here already. Imagine how cute this shirt would look with basic denim cut offs. :) Sigh.

Tomorrow is Monday. Ugh. Ugh. :/ Don't forget to check out my giveaway and enter! :D What are you seeing, watching, reading, or wearing this week? :) Please Comment and Follow!
