Hola, blogging world. These photos have been available on the Burberry Facebook page for weeks now but I decided to blog about them anyway. The first photos are part of Burberry's Summer/Spring 2011 compaigns, click here to see a behind-the-scenes video, featuring Tali Lennox and Tara Ferry. The last photos are from the Burberry's Exotic collection.

Burberry Spring/Summer 2011 Campaign

Hello. Whether you're a new reader or a loyal one, welcome! Today's post seems pretty self explanatory. See the title above. I am one of the three million people who are fans of Burberry on Facebook and a few days ago they released pictures of their new S/S 2011 Campaign.

Christopher Bailey [Cheif Creative Officer of Bruberry] said, "We wanted to create a dynamic, evolving campaign that reflects the diversity of our broad global consumer, revealing new British cast members each month, all with their own identity, embodying the different attitudes of the Burberry guy and girl. We shot the campaign on Brighton beach to celebrate the great British outdoors and our history of supporting emerging talent and to bring to life the emotion behind protection from the elements."

As many of you know, Burberry is my favorite brand and as that is the case, I was so excited to see these that I had to share them with you. That lime green cross-over? Adorable! That leather and white trench? I need! Too bad we're in a recession. But it doesn't hurt to look, right? Anyway. Here's a link to see footage from the shoot with Cara Delevingne and Jacob Young.

Anyway, I know that some of you don't have the same enthusiam for British fashion that I have and so I decided to write a second post for today. Just scroll down a little and you'll see it. Hopefully, its more to your liking.

Flashback: Burberry Prorsum

If you've read my blog for any period of time you know that I adore Christopher Bailey. His work literally will take my breath away when I first see it. There is no doubt that if money was not a factor, my closet would be filled to the brim with Burberry coats, scarves, and shoes. And probably any other type of garmet imaginable.

I got a bit nostalgic today and took a walk down memory lane. Today's post is all about Burberry Prorsum and its transformation throughout the years.

I loved looking through all these pictures. Burberry Prorsum is such an iconic brand. Do I even need to explain why I adore this brand so much? I'm so excited for Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011! The Pre-Fall collection is out but I love the drama of the runway more than anything. The music. The lights. Its amazing.

Emma Watson: Life at Brown University

Emma Watson graced the cover of Marie Claire. Despite the blogger scandal that rocked day-time television [a blogger said that watching Mike and Molly disgusted her because they were obese], I was glad that they featured Emma Watson. She is so classy and smart and not to mention a style icon.

"My last day was pretty emotional. It was sad; it's the end of an era. What an amazing learning experience! I gave everything I could to that role, and I got so much from it." Emma Watson in a Vera Wang jacket, Ohne titel tights, Burberry shoes, and assorted jewelry [left]. Emma Watson in Fendi dress, Camilla and Marc bodysuit, Sass and Bide embellished vest, and Christian Louboutin shoes [right].

"I'm glad I saw [the Harry Potter franchise] through to the end; I played that character from the start, and I wanted to finish what I started. It felt very satisfying that I had completed Hermione's journey." Emma Watson in J. Mendel vest, Ralph Lauren Blue Label pants, Lulu Frost bib necklace, Aandre Neen bracelet, and Fenton pendant necklace [right]. Emma in Burberry Prorsum jacket, top and Minnie Mortimer shorts [left].

"I've wanted to [cut my hair] since I was about 16...It's very short; it was buzzed at the back and on the sides. And it's really liberating that I can walk out without thinking about it." Emma Watson in Helmut Lang top, Marc Jacobs panty, Jimmy Choo shoes, and assorted bangles.

"I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn't even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I'd found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged." Emma Watson in a DKNY top, Alexander Wang leggings, J. Mendel Vest, and assorted jewelry [left].

I got an email from a young girl and she asked me if I could periodically update you guys about the books that I'm reading. I used to do that a lot but I've been slacking. Partially because I've been slacking on reading. I normally try to read a book a week but sometimes that doesn't happen.

Well, right now I'm reading True Compass by Edward "Ted" Kennedy. He passed away recently and I just find the entire Kennedy family fascinating. JFK and Jackie O. Iconic family and Ted's memoir gives a little insight on this private family.
