Keira Knightley's Street Style

Keira Knightley is currently working on the revival of The Children's Hour at the Comedy Theatre in London. This is the second play she's performed at this location along with her 2009/2010 theatrical debut in The Misanthrope. But each night she leaves the theatre and despite the cold, she always manages to look fabulous.

Day and Knightley

Unfortunately Kiera won't be in the next Pirates of the Carribean film tentatively set for May 2011 but she shines in her new film, Never Let Me Go. I'm a huge Kiera fan and I'm so excited for this movie! This film will hopefully help me forget the horrible ending of The Duchess.

Kiera is one of my all time favorite actress. She has such range, from romantic-dramedy to brilliant period pieces. Plus she was in my favorite love story of all time. Yes, of course I'm talking about Pride and Prejudice. :) While Ms. Knightley is constantly playing women from the past but her sense of style is modern and so beyond.
Just scroll down to see the truth. :)

On the left is Keira in Miu Miu. She looks amazing! You want proof? It took me two minutes to realize that there were ladies printed on her top and puppies on the bottom. I could never pull off a lady-print top but I really adore Miu Miu's bird prints. Especially on navy platform shoes. Those have to be my favorite.

On the right Keira Knightley is wearing Nina Ricci lace minidress. She paired it with a simple black blazer and platforms. Never underestimate a great classic. :) Plus, her short curled bob looks amazing. Why is everyone cutting off their hair? Are you?

Keira rocks the digital print trend in a floor-length Erdem creation. The color kind of reminds me of the 3D glasses you had to wear in like 2001. Do you remember those? The fit is stunning and I love the way this dress just skims the floor. Its so elegant and sophisticated. Her soft, subtle makeup is also perfection.

Then Keira rocks this sheer Rodarte look while promoting her new film. She normally is so serious in her movies and I love her bright, sunny smile. Beautiful. :) She combines a very, sophisticated top with an A-line blue skirt. So pretty!

Just a little update about my life. I'm going to start preparing for tennis season. I know that it starts in March but I want to play the best that I can. It is my senior year and I know that I'm not good enough to play on the collegiate level so I'm going to make the most of this one. :)

Please remember to become a fan on Facebook and follow on GFF! <3

Keira Can

The same stunning woman is the star of the box office gold that is The Pirates of the Carribean franchise. She held her own in small film dramedy, Bend it Like Beckham. And sparkled as the plain jane Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice.

Yes, of course I'm talking about Keira Knightley. :) The face of Coco Mademoiselle. [i had to google the perfume because I couldn't spell 'mademoiselle'. obviously i'm not taking french as my language.]

Today's magazine of choice is Vogue. I love Vogue because the photo shoots are always over the top. Complete fantasy. And I love that small escape from reality. It's nice. I know I posted a lot of pictures but I couldn't convince myself to cut any of them. They all deserved their spot.

I saved the picture of the elephant for last because it was just so adorable. :) So cute! Read the article here. And I love how Arthur Elgort describes her. Keira "exudes the peculiar charm of a slightly scatty but ravishingly pretty British schoolgirl."

This is a little random but lately I've been obsessed with this song called, "Say You Don't Want It" by One Night Only. Its so catchy. But I can't find it on iTunes. Am I blind? Should I just look harder?

I'll talk to you guys tomorrow. Peace. Love. Fashion. :)

Pixie

Emma Watson cut her hair! :) Eeek! I love it. I absolutely adore women who are strong enough and bold enough to sport short hair. I don't think I'm in a position that I'm confident enough to cut off my hair. It's my safety blanket, I guess.

Emma said on her facebook that cutting her hair was "the most liberating thing ever." At some point in my life I want to be ready to cut it all off but I'm not there quite yet.

I thought it would be fun to take a look at some other strong women who look fabulous with their short hair.

Jamie Lee Curtis. I think she is the definition of a strong woman and she is known for her short hair. I mean, not many women are comfortable enough to wear their hair grey. They're afraid of aging or becoming old but I love the fact that this woman embraces it.

She doesn't try to hide the fact that she's not twenty anymore. And I admire that. :) She goes to show that short hair isn't for the super young, its for everyone.

Next, there're spunky Keira Knightley. Who is the actress in two of my favorite movies ever. Bend it Like Beckham and Pride and Prejudice. Both are amazing. If you haven't seen them...well, watch them!

One makes me wish that I lived in Britain and had super soccer skills. While the other makes me wish that I lived in Britain and had an adorable Mr. Darcy to fall in love with. Sigh. That movie gets me everytime.

But Keira's hair looks so edgy like this. So fun and carefree. Keira is such a beautiful woman. Honestly. I loved her Chanel commericials with Joss Stone singing in the background. I die. [sound like Rachel Zoe, much?]

This post is starting to get kind of long so I decided to cut it off here. Other girls with short hair that I love include Victoria Beckham [honestly how can I talk about pixie hair and not talk about Posh? it seems like I blog about her constantly!] and, Halle Berry [she was kick butt in X-Men], and Natalie Portman [good thing she shaved her head before Britney did. but she has guts. i would never be able to do that.] All these women are amazing.

I feel a little like I'm Tyra Banks, you know, preaching about strong women but...whatever. I can get a little preachy every once and a while, right? I'll just try to spread it out. Okay? Bye!

Miss Knightley

Even though I have zero foot-eye cordination, I fell in love with the movie Bend It Like Beckham. Actually its one of my all time favorites. :)

This was the first time I'd ever seen Keira Knightley in action but it sure wasn't the last time. I loved the first Pirates of the Carribean Movie even if the next two movies were beyond confusing. I just didn't get them.

Anyways, Keira Knightley is the covergirl of Elle magazine and here are some shots from the shoot. :)

Have you guys ever run so hard you thought your lungs would burst and your legs would crumble? I just finished running almost two miles with my friend May, whose on the Cross Country team. I think I've talked about her.

My legs are sore but I guess this is good cross training for tennis season, right? I don't know. Right now I just want some Coldstones and a glass of milk. Wow. :) That was random.

I don't think I've mentioned my obsession with Coldstones in a post. Well, I have a confession. I'm addicted to that stuff. It's just sooo good. I know its horrible for you but...I just can't help myself. I have no self-control. hahahaha. ;)

My favorite is Cake Batter with pie crust and brownies. Yum!

Oh, for those living in the states Happy President's Day!

What's you favorite flavor of ice cream? Please, Please, Please Comment and Follow! I really like hearing, or should I say reading, what you guys have to say! :D Thanks.
