Today's Inspiration: Red Dresses

Today I'm feeling a bit inspired. I wore bright, bold red. And as I'm lying in bed writing this, I won't deny that I'm still in a bit of a red mood--whatever that means. But don't worry I'm not mad. I'm just appreciating the richness and depth of this wonderful color. After all, the song isn't about a lady in cucumber green.

Lanvin Hearts H&M? Well, I Heart Lanvin + H&M!

Go bold, Stella. Or go home.

Valentino RED.

Red isn't just for brunettes. Kristen proves that blondes can be bold too.

Who says that reds must be paired with neutrals? Whoever said that was a liar!

Rock that runway Karlie!

I hope that you're a little inspired. I know that I am. Please don't forget to check out my second blog, Thoughts of a Fashionista! And follow this blog for updates about whenever I post!

Rachel Bilson + Chloe Sally Bag

Chloe is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite luxury brands. Maybe that's why I seem to be blogging about it all the time. But the brand is so elegant and timeless. Rachel Bilson has been spotted all over town with her Chloe Sally Bag. I must say she looks stunning.

I adore this bag so much I looked it up on Saks' website. It looks a lot greener in these photos but it Rachel just proved how versatile this color actually is. If you want to check it out, just click here.

The Lara Stone Age

Lara Stone. The name holds big weight in the fashion industry. For those who might be unfmailiar with her work, she is a Dutch model who has graced runways all around the world. There was a bit controvesy a few months ago in Australia after her ad for Calvin Klein Jeans was banned because it was "suggestive of rape and violence".

What do you think? But Calvin Klein ad aside, there is no denying that Lara Stone is a force on the runway.

Lara Stone walking in the Chanel Fall 2010 RTW Fashion Show [left] and Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 RTW Fashion Show [right].

I adore Lara's look. Her pale blonde hair. Her gap. Her wobbly walk. Her uber confidence. In stills Lara looks so sure of herself but when she was interviewed by Vogue Paris, Lara was reported of saying that she does not like runway. That with her small feet she's always afraid of falling and as she's walking she thinks to herself, "Do not fall, do not fall."

What do you think of Lara Stone? Does she deserve the title of 'one of the best models of the past decade'? Your thoughts and opinions are wanted and appreciated! :)

The Must-Have Hair of 2010

Well, of course the haircut of 2010--other than the Justin Bieber swoop--was the pixie. It seemed like every month or two another famous actress was cutting off her hair while others simply rocked their signature style. This is a look at the best pixie cuts and the most sought after look going into 2011.

Ginnifer Goodwin in Valentino [left] and Christian Dior [right].

Halle Berry in Gucci [left] and Reem Acra [right].

Carey Mulligan in Chanel [left] and Nina Ricci [right].

Emma Watson in Calvin Klein Collection [left] and Burberry [right].

Michelle Williams in Stella McCartney [left] and Sonia Rykel with a Chanel Clutch [right].

The pixie cut is so fashion and stunning--if you have the right bone structure--I just worry that I don't have that structure. My hair is my safety blanket. But maybe 2011 will hold new and exciting things. Today is Christmas. I hope everyone is having a great holiday with their friends and family. I'm waiting for my mom to wake up so that we can finally open presents.
