Style Highlights: Leighton Meester

Leighton Mester is a triple threat. Singer, Actress, and Fashionista. Don't we all love and remember Good Girls Go Bad by Cobra Starship featuring Leighton Meester? I was just listening to that song and I was inspired. Which look of Leighton's is your favorite? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Leighton Meester in Chanel [left] and in Elie Saab [right].

Leighton looks classic and effortlessly chic--although she kept it a little edgy with a tribal-inspired bib necklace. The geometric detail at the hemline is so unique but she keeps the look simple with patent leather mary-janes. The winged eye makeup is so stunning. I wouldn't mind if she wore that look more often.

Leighton goes fun and care free with this adorable Elie Saab number. It is light, fresh, and so youthful. The textured details on the shoulders and at the hemline beautifully contrast the velvet pumps Leighton picked for the night. She keeps the look youthful by piling her hair on the top of her head with a few tendrils framing her smiling face.

Leighton rocked a white textured look mini and flowered heels. I adore mini-dresses with long sleeves. They're much more fashion and a lot less hooch. Leighton's long loose hair is a stunning contrast with the crisp white color of her outfit.

Leighton always looks her best when she's wearing dark colors with a slight rock-and-roll feel. This Michael Kors gown is the perfect mix of soft and hard. The cut-outs of the leather top show off Leighton's toned body and tiny waist. I adore the ombre affect and the pin-straight style of her hair. Adore!

Celebrities Love Michael Kors

I have been obsessed with Michael Kors lately. I keep blogging about him and his brilliant work because...well, why not? He is a business veteran that deserves a lot of love from fashionistas like myself. And since I can't actually afford any of his work, I'll be content to just blog about it.

Gwyneth Paltrow was perfection in this sparkly and embellished nude Michael Kors gown [left]. Rachel McAdams' complexion came alive in this bold Michael Kors gown [right].

Olivia Wilde sparkled in a stunning floor-sweeping Michael Kors gown [left]. Angie Harmon in an assymetrical purple mini-dress [right].

I think all of these ladies look amazing. Although, I'm a little partial toward Leighton Meester and Gwyneth Paltrow. Both look stunning. Which looks are your favorite? Leave your opinion in the comments!

Style Highlights: Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts is becoming a fashionista, as well as well known movie star. She hit up shows at both Paris and NY Fashion week and everyone was talking about how effortlessly chic she looked. Which look is your favorite? Please comment below!

Emma Roberts in Michael Kors [left] and Miu Miu [right].

This color looks STUNNING against Emma's skin tone. The pleating is perfection and I adore the retro hemline at Emma's mid-calf. The rest of the look is kept simple with black accessories and nothing more. Emma pulled her hair back but left a simple curl of hair to frame her face.

Sparkle and shine! Emma looks stunning in this cut-out Miu Miu mini. She paired the sparkly dress with unexpected pair of shimmery pink pumps. Remind me of Dorothy's shoes from The Wizard of Oz, but in a different color. So bold. So chic. I adore.

Emma Roberts in Jenny Packham [left] and Chanel [right].

Emma looks sophisticated and sweet in this floor-skimming Jenny Packham gown. This look is all about glitter and glam with its sequins embellishments and low-cutting neckline. She continued on the look of metallics with her stunning over sized clutch and with her grey makeup. So beautiful.

Chanel is always in style. Always. And if this is what Spring 2011 looks like, then I am so excited! Pastels are so beautiful and soft. I love the fringe details on the skirt, at the sleeve, and everywhere! In an effort to keep the look fun Emma paired this flawless dress with modern silver pumps. Simple hair and a chunky clutch completes the look. I love!

Thank you for reading. I'm so grateful to all of my readers. They are the best and I will gladly argue with anyone who says otherwise. I'll be back tomorrow. But until then, please check out my second blog. The number of posts I've published is into the double digits now. So exciting!

Top Ten: Michael Kors Fall 2011 RTW

Its hard to believe that thirty-years ago, a nineteen year old Michael Kors started to make his mark on the fashion world. He is well known outside that world due in large part to his role as judge on Project Runway. I love his quick wit and ability to tell it like it is. Plus, the fact that he can design an entire collection that makes me want to run to the store without a care to the damage that will be done to my wallet, doesn't hurt either.

Fashion Baby Boom!

Is there something in the water? Because there have been a fashion baby boom! Who recently gave birth? Continue reading to find out.
__
In case you haven't heard Stella McCartney, vegan designer extroidinaire gave birth to a young girl last week. This will be her fourth child with her publisher husband, Alasdhair Willis. The McCartney clan's newest addition, Reiley, will join brothers, Miller [5] and Beckett [2], and sister, Bailey [3]. All four children were born in London.

McCartney is known for her distaste for using animal products, such as leather, in the making of her clothing. If you are vegan Stella's line is a great option for you. But Stella McCartney wasn't the only fashionista welcoming a beautiful baby into the world.

Nina Garcia, Project Runway judge and fashion director of Marie Claire, has also given birth to a child. This past weekend Nina Garcia gave birth to her second boy, Alexander David Conrad. This will be the second child for Nina Garcia and David Conrad, their other son, Lucas Alexander Conrad was born in early 2007.

Reports say that this will not interfere with Nina's role as judge on the popular Lifetime show, seen above with fellow host Michael Kors. This is a make it work moment. Tim Gunn would be proud.

Both women and babies are doing fine. But while the Hollywood baby boom is starting to show signs of decreasing, babies in the fashion world show no signs of stopping. McCartney and Garcia have our best wishes. Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
