Today's Inspiration: Vogue

What is more inspirational than the fashion icon that is Vogue? Every little girl knows that magazine. The same goes for all older girls as well. But while the pages inside are stunning pieces of art, people often forget about the cover.

A bit of light reading in bed.

Simply ageless with Starbucks and Vogue.

A perfect evening of fashion, manicures, and technology!

All the magic lies behind these doors. If only.

Are you in Vogue?

Put on your favorite lipstick and shine.

Which picture is your favorite? I'm interested in what inspires you? Pictures? Movies? Celebrity fashion? I want to know. Please don't forget to follow my blog or check out my Facebook fanpage. :) Thank you for reading and I hope you check back in tomorrow.

Kristen Stewart in Vogue

I was so impressed when I saw these photos. And there was no way that I could not not post these pictures. [sorry for the confusing double negative] So without further ado, here are a few pictures and outtakes featuring Vogue's newest covergirl in one of my all time favorite brands ever--Proenza Schouler!

Breaking Dawn director, Bill Condon, described Stewart as "one of the smartest actresses I’ve ever worked with...Not only does she have astonishing technical ability, she has an incredibly incisive and serious approach to character. She has just unlimited potential.”

Kristen Stewart with Proenza Schouler designing team, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Stewart feels the pressure of her enthusiastic fanbase from the Twilight Saga films. "I just want the fans of the book to be happy.” She laughs. “I don’t necessarily care about anyone else.”

What is currently on Stewart's nightstand? Dave Cullen’s Columbine; Into the Wild author Jon Krakauer’s Under the Banner of Heaven, a study of radical Mormonism; and Anna Karenina. On her iPod? The Shins, Broken Bells, and Jenny Lewis.

I can't wait for the weekend to finally get here! Don't forget to check out my twitter account and my facebook page! Whenever I reach 900 followers on GFF, I will host a giveaway. What type of prizes do you want?

Blake Lively: Summer, Surf, and Style

What do you get when you mix Blake Lively's California girl beauty, Mario Testino's photography, and the writing skills of Hamish Bowles? A stunning feature in Vogue Magazine. Did you miss it? Well, here is your chance to get into the summer spirit.

To prepare for her upcoming role Blake has been rehearsing with the stunt coordinator from Bond films and gymnastic acrobats from Cirque de Soleil. Blake on the rig used to to film stunts, "[It's] the best workout you can ever do...It's so exhilarating, so thrilling--and nauseating".

Blake on her role in the upcoming Green Lantern film, "All I want is to be a hero for my nephews and nieces...I'm going to be the coolest aunt ever."

Blake went scuba diving in Maldive last year and she said, "It was the most peaceful and tranquil thing...I fell in love with it."

"I love, love, love New York, but it's nice sometimes to have not so much to do--[in New Orleans] there's time to walk through the park and cook."

In between filming Blake enjoys shopping for antiques to decorate her trailer, watching movies like A Streetcar Named Desire, and listening to bluegrass and forties big band music.

Blake always looks amazing. I have to admit that I'm more than a little jealous. Leave any and all thoguhts in the comments below! I love hearing from you. Also, what do you want me to blog about tomorrow?

Riding with Charlotte Casiraghi

On the European continent, it is no secret that Charlotte Casiraghi has graced the shiny pages of the tabloids more than a couple times. Is it her stunning beatuy or her royal ties? Is it her strong determination or effortless charm that makes her so appealing?

Maybe it is the combination of all these factors. She is not as well known in the States but I blame that mostly on distance. Ms. Casiraghi was recently interview by Vicki Woods in Vogue. She came across as humble and charismatic. She was so impressive that I knew that there was no way I could not feature her in a post. I hope you enjoy.

Today's post was relatively short. But that's because I'm doing two posts today. Please follow my blog if you liked what you read today. Thanks! Talk to you guys soon.

Introducing Miss Mulligan

Carey Mulligan was recently interviewed for an article in Vogue. In the article I found her charming and humble. I wish the article had been more about her and less about what other people thought of her but it was intriguing to hear the story about how this English Rose has started to blossom.

The photography was amazing. So many Haute Couture gowns. So much drooling on my part.

When asked by her trainer what she wanted to look like she responded, "I don't want to look like an actress; I want to look like a person." Mulligan wearing Dior Haute Couture gown.

"This need to trump everyone bewilders me. I'm only 25. I'm not better than anyone." Mulligan in a Balenciaga gown and necklace [left] and Givenchy Haute Courture tulle dress [right].

"At 25 I shouldn't be doing the easy stuff. In the future, when I have responsibilities and a family, I can do the conventional stuff." Mulligan in Nina Ricci [left] and Dior Haute Couture jacket with Prada pants [right].

"When I was fifteen, I had vivid dreams of acting with Judi Dench...[then on the] first day of Pride and Prejudice, there was Judi Dench." Mulligan wearing Valentino Haute Couture [left] and Haute Couture Chanel [right].

Carey is one of the stars of the new movie, Never Let Go, alongside Keira Knightley [Pirates of the Carribbean] and Andrew Garfield [The Social Network]. If you want to see Carey's red carpet style, click here.

Stella's Country Estate

If you open the current issue of Vogue and flip through the pages, you'll notice Stella McCartney gracing the shiny, glossy pages. Inside is an article about Stella's country estate that is currently under renovation. Well, it has been for quite some time. Try six years.

The place is completely stunning. It focuses mainly on the Anniversary Garden that McCartney received as anniversary present from her husband in 2009.

The beautiful Stella McCartney.

Hide and go seek. Where did Stella go?

The Hathaway Diaries

Anne Hathaway is synonymous with Hollywood glamour. She is a chameleon. Anne artfully can play a dowdy girl turned fashionista, teenage princess, ground-breaking English author, and off-beat queen with equal grace and believability.

But what makes her so iconic, is her ability to connect with her fans. She seems so accessible, like the girl next door or your sister's best friend. And she appears so humble. A refreshing change of pace from the cocky celebrities that grace magazine's today.

"When you finally realize...that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough." Hathaway in in a Miu Miu tank, draped in jewels from Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chopard [left]. Hathaway in Isaac Mizrahi.

In her youth, Anne was very determined in pursuit of her passion for acting. "I was afraid to let anything in that might distract me...because I had so much riding on it." With actors Josephine de la Baume[left] and Raphael Personnaz [middle], wearing a bold, strapless Marchesa dress.

"I'm very open, very trusting. Some might say too trusting, because considering the amount of money that can be made from selling gossip, I could be very easily taken advantage of." Hathaway wearing Isaac Mizrahi strapless gown and Marchesa clutch.

Joking about her high hair-do Anne says, "It's Holly Golightly meets Marge Simpson." Hathway in Vera Wang [left] and with French actor, Raphael Personnaz, in a Oscar de la Renta gown and Jimmy Choo [right].

Lately I've become obsessed with the song, Animal, by Neon Trees. What songs have you been listening to? What was your favorite look? Please comment below. I love hearing your thoughts. :)
