Red Carpet Alert!: Polka Dots

Polka dots. We all remember that bold print we all associate more with our child-hood memories than with high fashion. But celebrities have started falling back in love with this adorable print and have been seem sporting it around town. What do you think of this trend?

Style Highlights: Mila Kunis

This girl has come a long way since her days on That 70's Show. Mila Kunis is now an actress who is starring alongside Oscar-Award winning actresses and her career will only grow from this point. And not only is Mila Kunis an amazing actress, the girl can also pull off an outfit like nobody's business. That's pretty impressive.

Mila Kunis in Alexander McQueen [left] and in a simple pencil skirt, greige pumps, and crisp white blouse [right].

In my opinion, Mila Kunis was by far the best-dressed that night at the SAG awards. Her soft waves mimicked the soft waves and the liquid print on the skirt of her dress. This dress was stunning and her beautiful smile and self-confidence helped her own that night. There isn't one thing I would change.

This look is completely different. This is how to look sophisticated and chic--whether you're at work or at The Four Seasons, like Mila. She doesn't look old or snobby, she looks professional and approachable. I love the elegant draping of her sleeveless top. I want to steal it for my closet!

This floral mini is too cute. I wish the color or the print was a little lighter, so that the camera could capture the beautiful floral detailing but that's just me picking at details now. This dress is so structural and it is tailored to fit her body like a glove. Beautiful.

I was stunned when I first saw Mila in this dress. The blush color contrasts against her skin, the black background, and the red carpet beautifully. The cut was fantastic. The slit was perfection. And I have been lusting after those Christian Louboutins for months now.

Which look was your favorite? Leave your opinion in the comments! Thank you, again, for reading. It means so much to me. Please come back tomorrow. I'll be here waiting.

Style Highlights: Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams in a tailered peacoat [left] and a mustard plaid dress [right].

Michelle looks utterly chic strolling through the streets of NYC in a simple peacoat and tights. The big bold golden accesories and the bright red of her Louboutin heels are the only accents of color in this neutral look. Simple shades add a touch of mystery and confidence.

Michelle looks stunning at the Venie Film Festival. Her simple mustard and cream dress takes a modern twist on the traditonal plaid pattern. Big white buttons and wide front pockets give the dress a sweet feel. Add strappy brown platform sandals and the look is complete.

Michelle Williams in Oscar de la Renta [left] and Christian Dior [right].

Michelle looks lady-like and sweet in this Oscar de la Renta mini. The lace and bows are delicate and romantic without looking like a little girl playing dress-up. This is a look that is timeless. In ten years it will look as effortless as it did the day the picture was taken.

Michelle picked a crisp and clean Christian Dior gown and paired them with stunning plum colored pumps. The ruffles at the bottom and the top add a touch of feminity that she loves incorporate in her looks. A cinched waist and the high hemline show off her excellent figure.

Michelle Williams in Erdem [left] and Sonia Rykiel [right].

Michelle looks stunning in this bold red lace mini. The lady-like cut is complimented perfectly by her edgy heels. The soft curls in her short hair is a welcome change to her usually straight pixie cut. Michelle takes a completely different approach. In this Sonia Rykiel dress she looks fresh and fun.

Michelle Williams, Dawson's Creek alum, has been gaining fame for not only her outstanding acting ability--but for classic fashion sense. She might've had her begining in teen drama but she has slowly been distancing herself by taking on bold and risky projects, like her newest drama with Ryan Gosling called Blue Valentine. Michelle's career has jsut taken off and has no sign of slowing down.

Eva Mendes Stuns on the Red Carpet

Lately, Eva has been putting the blogosphere on fire. She's had best-dressed look after look. And I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I love her hair--if I could I would steal it. :) On a random side note, I just finished decorating the tree. I'm so in the Christmas spirit. What about you?

Eva Mendes in a red summer dress [left] and Christian Dior [right].

Summer is over but Eva makes us long for those warm days. The bright coral color looks so great against Eva's natural tan. Minimal jewelry and makeup is perfect for those lazy summer days. Her hair is lose and long--the way I love--and it looks amazing--as usual!

Eva looks stunning in her ground-sweeping gown. The way the fabric skims the floor--barely touching--is so elegant and shows great craftsmanship. The pale pink color is soft and sweet, perfect for the Los Angeles Philharmonics. The embellishments down the front add the perfect touch of fun.

Eva Mendes in Oscar de la Renta [left] and Lela Rose [right].

Oscar makes clothes for the classy, upper-class woman. Eva is that woman. Nude pumps and sunglasses keep the look casual while still staying true to the dress' elegance. The print--almost animalistic--doesn't overwhelm Eva's small frame because of the structured cut of the dress.

A perfect white moment. If there ever was one, this is it. She's wearing the same shoes from her de la Renta look--way to stay green and recycle. And they work in both a casual and formal moment. No jewelry is needed to create more drama. But Eva looks beautiful in anything she wears. :)

Eva also works with Rachel Zoe! :) You guys know how much I love her. "You look bananas." [my attempt at impersonating her] My little sister started watching The Rachel Zoe Project with me and that's all she can say. She's so cute.

Please leave your thoughts in the comments! I really, really love blogging and I was wondering, if it wasn't too much trouble, if my readers could become a fan on Blogvloin' [just click on the blue button on your right!]. I would be so thankful and it is free to sign up. Thank you so much! :)

Behind the Runway with Karlie Kloss

I know we all like to think that models just pop up at the begining of the runway with perfect hair and perfect clothing. With little to no preperation. We all know its not true but most of us don't know what goes on behind the scenes. What do models do for hours--while they're getting their hair and makeup done? While they're waiting for the show to begin?

Well, here's a look behind the scenes with Karlie Kloss. One of my favorties! :)

Here's a fun video I found on Teen Vogue's account on Youtube. :) She seems so down to eart and cool. Want to know Karlie's winter weather essential? It's not what you think.

Bye, guys! I'll talk to you soon. :) Who should I blog about next? Suggestions are warmly welcomed!

The Hathaway Diaries

Anne Hathaway is synonymous with Hollywood glamour. She is a chameleon. Anne artfully can play a dowdy girl turned fashionista, teenage princess, ground-breaking English author, and off-beat queen with equal grace and believability.

But what makes her so iconic, is her ability to connect with her fans. She seems so accessible, like the girl next door or your sister's best friend. And she appears so humble. A refreshing change of pace from the cocky celebrities that grace magazine's today.

"When you finally realize...that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough." Hathaway in in a Miu Miu tank, draped in jewels from Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chopard [left]. Hathaway in Isaac Mizrahi.

In her youth, Anne was very determined in pursuit of her passion for acting. "I was afraid to let anything in that might distract me...because I had so much riding on it." With actors Josephine de la Baume[left] and Raphael Personnaz [middle], wearing a bold, strapless Marchesa dress.

"I'm very open, very trusting. Some might say too trusting, because considering the amount of money that can be made from selling gossip, I could be very easily taken advantage of." Hathaway wearing Isaac Mizrahi strapless gown and Marchesa clutch.

Joking about her high hair-do Anne says, "It's Holly Golightly meets Marge Simpson." Hathway in Vera Wang [left] and with French actor, Raphael Personnaz, in a Oscar de la Renta gown and Jimmy Choo [right].

Lately I've become obsessed with the song, Animal, by Neon Trees. What songs have you been listening to? What was your favorite look? Please comment below. I love hearing your thoughts. :)
