Style Highlights: Reese Witherspoon

Water For Elephants comes out today! I'm so excited. I read the book and it was fantastic. Go check out my review if you already haven't. But I think that Reese will be wonderful in this role. I'm been a fan for ages. Tell me in the comments below which look is your favorite?

Reese was the center of attention that night at the Oscars. She looked amazing! Her hair was so retro but she kept the look incredibly modern. I adored the black and white color blocking--so chic! The emerald earrings were an excellent choice. They added a bit of color to the look without appearing out of place.

Jason Wu + Reese Witherspoon is a combination that never fails. I love this deep, rich color on her. It is bold and powerful. Reese looks confident and happy. Her makeup is natural and her hair looks effortless in soft waves--just like how Reese likes it.

Talk about angelic. In white Reese looks absolutely stunning. If you look closely you will see that the dress is actually textured--a stunning detail that adds depth to the look. I adore the half sleeve and sheer trimming at the bottom of the hem. Paired with simple Louboutins and silver dangling earrings, the look is complete.

With this look, Reese took a chance and it paid off. She looks so modern in this Zac Posen mini. I adore the bow detailing at the bust and waist. The corset cinches in her waist and the strapless silhouette shows off Reese's toned arms. Reese likes to keep things simple and she decided to pair the look with simple black pumps and minimal jewelry. Although, Reese did amp up her eye makeup. Risk taker!

Thank you again for staying with me. I love blogging and I get so excited when people actually read my words. Don't forget to follow and check out my second blog! See you tomorrow.

Reese Witherspoon's Street Style

Reese Witherspoon, the newly-wed. She looked stunning on the cover of People and she looked so happy. I have been a fan of Reese since her Legally Blonde days. Now I'm excited for her newest movie with Robert Pattinson, Water For Elephants. I'm a HUGE fan of the book, click here to see my review, and I can't wait for it to hit the big screen.

Looking Forward to Fall

Right now I have Pamplona Purple on my nails by OPI. :) I was so excited because a few days ago I got my second manicure ever. [does that make a complete dork?] I normally just paint my nails myself because I like to save my money for other things like clothes or makeup or books.

But the me, my sister, and my two cousins decided to all get our nails done and I indulged. :)

I know this might sound weird but its been so log since I've posted that I'm not quite sure what to say...Agh! Okay. Lane. Focus! :)

I know school is coming up. [my last year in high school. I'm already a little sad...] And I've already started school shopping. I feel that since last year my style has gotten a little edgier and I've been searching for the ultimate leather [or rather fake leather] since I've become obsessed with the rocker-esque look. :)

Anyway, here are a few ways to rock the leather look with out looking like you're part of a biker gang.

Love Kat Bowden's mini leather skirt. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable rocking a leather skirt to school but I loved the way it looked on her so much that I decided to add the picture anyway. I also adore the color of her top. The bright pop of color contrasts with the black of her skirt. Love it!

Plus the light shirt keeps the look from becoming too heavy with the leather skirt and the leather shoe. She looks stunning.

And Reese with her leather tote. Bags are an easy way to incorporate leather into your look. They're subtle and will last a lifetime. Unlike the leather skirt that will start to get tight in the hips once most of us hit our late fifties. [probably not something most of us want to think about. sorry for the terrifying mental image!]

I think that Reese has a style that is so effortless. I mean don't we all want to look like we rolled out of bed, threw on a chic outfit, and walked out the door? Well, I know that I do but my outfits normally require more work than that. :)

Okay, well I don't want to bore you so I'm signing off now. Does anyone know where to get a really cute leather jacket? Please leave a comment below. Bye! :)

Oh, and my contest ends tomorrow! Good luck to everyone that entered! :D

Black and White

Jason Wu is a genius. I have no problem saying that. I love his ability to make a woman look amazing. I especially love his use of the colors: black and white. Reese looks flawless in her lace number but I especially loved it when Wu mixed black and white together to make a stunningly beautiful dress. :)

I think Jason Wu has become my new obsession. :)

Kristin Stewart at New Moon Benefit Screening in Tennessee. Wearing Laser-Cut
Sequin Strapless Dress from Jason Wu paired with Neil Lane Diamonds, Sergio Rossi
Shoes, and a Black Leather Belt.

Hilary Rhoda at an Event. Wearing Black and White Jason Wu Dress, Strappy Heels,
and Little Black Clutch.

Its super early right now but I'm blogging anyway. I feel alseep on the coach last night watching Criminal Minds, which btw is the scariest show but I still insist on watching it. Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either. :)

I just realized that I named this blog "Black and White" and my previous blog was entitled "Black and Blue". Sorry for the un-original titles. My bad. :) I'm going blame it on the fact that I'm up before 10:00 on a Saturday morning.

I cannot wait for the school year to be over. We get out on like June 16th or something like that. I can't believe I don't know the exact date but I don't. But my cousins and a bunch of other people I know are already out of school. I'm so jealous. But I just have to keep going. :) Its less than a month now. :)

Sorry for the short blog. Please Comment and Follow! Are you already out of school?

Roaming With Reese

Sitting in my bed huddled under my blankets, and I'm completely loving it! My bed is always just so comfy. :) Sister's driver's ed ended last weekend which is really nice. :)

Here's Reese Witherspoon rocking her Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch. If this post seems kind of random I have an explanation at the bottom. :)

Shopping in Los Angelos. Wearing Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch, Ray Ban
Wayfarer Sunglasses, J Crew Corwin Cardigan, Black Ankle Booties, and Black Skinny Jeans.

Out in Venice. Wearing Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch, Fitted Black
Turtleneck, Black Flats, and Medium Wash Skinny Jeans.

Out in Brentwood. Wearing Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch, Chanel 5124
Sunglasses, Lanvin Ballet Flats, Tailored Mini Pencil Skirt, and
Button-Down Flanel Shirt.

Hahaha. I did this post because today in Japanese my friend Maddy and I were playing this game. She got these texts that had famous movie quotes from all these different chick flicks. She'd read me the quote and then I'd have to guess. :)

It was really fun. Most of the quotes were from Twilight: "You better hold on tight, spidermoneky!" That one made me laugh. :) Idk.

Anyway then she said, "The rules of haircare are simple and finite. Any Cosmogirl would've known."

What movie is that from? Maybe I'm the only one who loves this movie and can recite almost every line by heart. I'll give you some time to think about your answer.

Well, of course it was Legally Blonde. <3 Elle Woods. :) Hence the Reese Witherspoon post. She's so classy. I really like her.

What movie do you know by heart? Please tell me! :D (wow! this is a kind of long post...)

Fashionistas on Film

When I was younger movies and magazines were my inspiration for fashion. Well, in truth to some extent they still are. I am a lover of movies. And a lover of fashion and so it only makes sense for me to create a Fashionistas of Film post.

Legally Blonde: We all remember her spunk. Her Style. And her huge pink wardrobe. She took over Harvard Law and found the love of her life, while not losing herself. :) This is one of my all time favorite chick flicks. :D

The Devil Wears Prada: Not only is Anne Hathaway one of my favorite actresses, but her wardrobe in this movie was flawless. It was like a fantasy. :) The first time I watched it, I spent most of the movie drooling over every shoe, purse, or dress. *sigh* It was amazing.

Confessions of a Shopaholic: This movie was so funny. :) Isla was so funny as the adorable Rebecca Bloowood. She is the extreme that all shopaholics hope to never reach. But she does it with such style and spark! Her style was a little over the top sometimes but I think it adds to the film. Loved it! :)

Who's your favorite fashionista on film? Please Comment and Follow! :D

A Piece of Reese

Reese Witherspoon. She's one of the few people in Hollywood who seems to have her stuff together. Not only was she adorable in Legally Blonde but I love her style and class. Plus she seems like she can do simple math and has more brains that a monkey.

Anyway, not only do a I respect her as an actress but I love her style. She seems to be able to put together the cutests styles. :D What's your opinion of Reese?

This is a really quick blog after my return trip from my aunt's. Can you believe that I had no access to the internet?! Ugh! :(

Anyway, I just visited the biggest mall I've EVER been to. But I love it. :D

With Summer coming to an end, what was your best summer memory? And who's your Hollywood fashion inspiration? Sorry for the lack of blogs lately. :)

Random question but would anyone want me to do a post on the clothes I bought on my trip? IDK. Be honest. :)
