Jennifer Lawrence in Teen Vogue

In the past year Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for an Academy Award, had the opportunity to play a superhero in the soon to be released X-Men movie, and been cast as Katniss in the highly anticipated movie adaption of the Hunger Games series. Such a busy girl. She is also the latest covergirl on Teen Vogue.

Style Highlights: Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams in a tailered peacoat [left] and a mustard plaid dress [right].

Michelle looks utterly chic strolling through the streets of NYC in a simple peacoat and tights. The big bold golden accesories and the bright red of her Louboutin heels are the only accents of color in this neutral look. Simple shades add a touch of mystery and confidence.

Michelle looks stunning at the Venie Film Festival. Her simple mustard and cream dress takes a modern twist on the traditonal plaid pattern. Big white buttons and wide front pockets give the dress a sweet feel. Add strappy brown platform sandals and the look is complete.

Michelle Williams in Oscar de la Renta [left] and Christian Dior [right].

Michelle looks lady-like and sweet in this Oscar de la Renta mini. The lace and bows are delicate and romantic without looking like a little girl playing dress-up. This is a look that is timeless. In ten years it will look as effortless as it did the day the picture was taken.

Michelle picked a crisp and clean Christian Dior gown and paired them with stunning plum colored pumps. The ruffles at the bottom and the top add a touch of feminity that she loves incorporate in her looks. A cinched waist and the high hemline show off her excellent figure.

Michelle Williams in Erdem [left] and Sonia Rykiel [right].

Michelle looks stunning in this bold red lace mini. The lady-like cut is complimented perfectly by her edgy heels. The soft curls in her short hair is a welcome change to her usually straight pixie cut. Michelle takes a completely different approach. In this Sonia Rykiel dress she looks fresh and fun.

Michelle Williams, Dawson's Creek alum, has been gaining fame for not only her outstanding acting ability--but for classic fashion sense. She might've had her begining in teen drama but she has slowly been distancing herself by taking on bold and risky projects, like her newest drama with Ryan Gosling called Blue Valentine. Michelle's career has jsut taken off and has no sign of slowing down.

Karlie Kloss: Model on the Runway

Designers never have the same aesthetic. They never have the same vision. In one season we can see aviator to rocker chick. From floor length fur to no pants. Each season is a flurry of activity and fashion. Model, Karlie Kloss is able to walk in one fashion show to the next with the same elegance and charm.

But what makes her so popular with designers is her ability to transform from one character to another. Don't believe me? See for yourself.

There's something about the fantasy on a runway that is just so appealing. That's why I love fashion. It is a world of fantasy--a way to escape from reality. It expresses what I'm feeling that day and who I am. I love Stanely Tucci's quote from The Devil Wears Prada.

"Don't you know that you are working at the place that published some of the greatest artists of the century? Halston, Lagerfeld, de la Renta. And what they did, what they created was greater than art because you live your life in it."

Just a little inspirational quote for the day. :) Bye!
