Red Carpet Alert!: Polka Dots

Polka dots. We all remember that bold print we all associate more with our child-hood memories than with high fashion. But celebrities have started falling back in love with this adorable print and have been seem sporting it around town. What do you think of this trend?

Stay Warm and Chic with 3.1 Phillip Lim

I'm a little obsessed! I was practically drooling as I scrolled through every picture. It was hard, but I managed to narrow it down to my favorite looks. Which looks are your favorite?

The mixture of warm chocolate browns, light greys, and navy blues is divine. Is there anything more edgy fashion that socks and heels? The minimalistic cut of the leather dress is so chic.

A simple round neckline is a chic alternative to a v-neck. Formal shorts are another chic alternative to a sleek dress pant. This chic rust color is the perfect color for fall.

Mix rocker and romance with a pink dress suit and edgy leather jacket. This unique blue-green is a simple dress that is so versatile. It is a modern twist on lady-like and the possibilities with this dress are endless.

Minimalistic pieces are basic that will live in any closet forever. Lim's take on the fashion sweat is pink and drool-worthy. The over-sized blue coat is equally drool worthy. It is perfect for winter/fall.

Those tailored pants are perfection. The slighter higher waisted fit is perfect for any woman who'd like to hide a slit muffin top. I also love the decision to have the clasp slightly off center. Every girl needs a little white dress. The delicate draping and crisp look makes this dress so desirable.

Fur has always been a symbol for grace, elegance, and sophistication. Lim just took this pre-fall collection, as an opportunity to update a well-love look. Many women feel as if they can't pull off a full fur coat and this sleeve trimmed alternative is perfect for those women. Just because the weather is cold does not mean bold colors have to disappear.

A slightly mod inspired orange sheath is perfect for any formal occasion. The ruched neckline add a touch of elegance. I have fallen in love with this cream vest and emerald green sweater combination. Sequined down the arms keep the look young and modern.

Click here to see the entire collection. There were so many beautiful pieces that I didn't have room to share with you. Please follow my blog and become a fan on Facebook! I would be so grateful. Thank you to all my readers that have stayed with me for so long.

Should You Go See Tangled?

The answer to that question is, Yes! I went to see it and I thought it was adorable. It is no Lion King or Beauty and the Beast but it is an enjoyable way to spend a Friday afternoon. And if you don't see it now you might have to wait an incredibly long time to get your Disney Princess fix in theaters. Edwin Catmull, president of Walt Disney Animation Studios, said that the studio was going to explore other stories in the foreseeable future before they create another Princess film.

And not only does this movie have kick-butt music, dancing, and characters. But Mandy Moore, voice of the long-haired Rapunzel, is as stylish as they come. I named her as one of the best dressed at the 2010 American Music Awards. But Mandy has brilliant style on and off the red carpet. But don't take my word for it. See for yourself.

Mandy looks great in black. Simple. Sleek. And a huge leap from the blonde sugar pop girl she used to be. Love the delicate lace sleeves on her dress. And those shoes. Are to die! The heels is just high enough and I want them for my closet. Then she goes casual with a tee and jeans. Boots are the comfy shoes of autumn/winter. Kind of like how flats are slippers are for summer.

The gold mini with its unexpected print is just stunning. The beautiful neckline also adds interest to an impeccably styled look. She paired everything with classic black Louboutins and a simple blazers. Blazers are truly a girl's best friend. They go with everything. At the complete opposite end Mandy decided to wear a Grecian one-shoulder gown. Her hair is soft and totally compliments her delicate outfit.

I really recommend you watch Tangled. Especially if you've already seen The Deathly Hallows twice [or seven times]. Or if you have little ones [brothers, sisters, daughters, sons] they'll enjoy it. Flynn [the prince charming of this film] has a larger role to attract the interest of little boys and has a secret. Gasp! So I'll talk to you guys later. Bye! :)
